Stressed out about the Interview

Hi everyone,

My husband is in the Army, we are currently filing for my AOS and according to the local congressman, our case has been placed in the queue waiting for interview (local office: ATL, GA). However, that is all the nice congressman lady could find out for me and what have been stressing me out is that my husband is going to AZ for a 6 month + training and schooling starting from Jan. 2014!

We filed our case on July 1th, 2013, and I understand it is normal that the whole process would take up to 6 month or even more. However, what would happen if our interview date is after his departure date? Both him and I are not sure if he can ask for leave since that is a 6 month UAV schooling program.

I understand that we can place expedite if they got deployment order oversea, however, in this case, what should I do?

P.S. we have an info pass appointment with local ATL office next Monday. We wanted to try to go in and explain things to officers in person. Any suggestions will be appreciated!
