Bring sister and mother to the US

Hello, I will become US citizen next month. I am starting to think about bringing family members to the state. As of today, is the siblings category still available for me to petition my sister? Should I start this process right away after I get my certification of naturalization?

I also want to bring my mother to live with me and my wife here too. One of the dilemma I have is whether to bring my mom here first then once my mom becomes PR, she can bring my sister (over 21, non-married) to the US instead of through me? I am really not sure which way to go as time is essence in this matter.

Right now u cant u must be citizen to eligible on that case, for your sister case she should remain single to be eligible under your petition but take note will take more more years , unlike your mother anytime whenever you become citizen.or once your mom admitted and she become PR permanent residence . She can petition her child of permanent resident if she remain single .if she gets married your mom petition to her child will be void

Well you bringing you sister would be like a 10 to 12 year wait (depending on country could be longer). Your mom brining her once she is here can take 1 to 2 years.

Better to have mom do it it would be faster.

PR Mom sponsors daughter (unmarried and over 21) only 1 or 2 years? (This is for all other countries category)

Yes understood that I will have to be citizen first. For the siblings category, is she required to be single the whole time too?

Is it possible I petition for my sister and my mom, then my mom gets here she can still petition for my sister as well? This means that my sister has two petitions going on for her.

1) Yes.

2) No, she can have a husband or kids if she is sponsored by you (the USC) BUT to be sponsored by your mom (who is/will be a LPR) she must remain single.

3) Yes, she can have two petitions going on for her.

Man, I am not sure what to do here. Looks like either route is going to take a long time. The immigration reform is going to remove the siblings category if it's approved.

If I file for my mom now and by next year, my income does not meet the sponsorship requirement, what are my choices?

Just like other visas you would have to get a co-sponsor if you don't meet the guidelines.

Unless your sister petition by your mom and she remain single your sister would definitely the beneficiary and her kids will include your mothers petition as a LPR her kids will be the derivative .but it's a big but..If your mom become citizen her petition to her child with a kids will fall under category immediate relative.and her kids will not be includ3d on that petition anymore. . So what happened the petition as a derivative will be dead then here is the thing once she admitted to the US later become LPR she can file for her kids left behind.

Better your mom will REMAIN As LPR to save her daughter kids.

One more thing this is only apply if she's remain adult single of LPR

Another questions I have -

If I go with siblings route, and sibling is married and have children. When the petition is filed the children are under 21, what if during the wait, the kids age out over 21+, what happens to the children? Are they still able to come with their parents? In this case siblings?

With siblings married route, does their spouse come with the beneficiary too no matter what?

In your sister case, married status with kids this must be a long process I suggest you should consult an attorney who you trust that can evaluate your case .
