From what I know, Embassies provide translation services for the language of the country they are in.

As for the forms, can you fill them out together through Skype or something like that?

Considering he would have to pay a lawyer as well, you just need to figure out which would be most cost effective for you.

You would have to ask in the specific regional forums, see if someone with more knowledge on the country can help.

There is no internet where he is currently at. And he can go where there is but you have to pay by the hour and its alot. This stuff just cant be alittle easier at all.

You can complete all the forms yourself and send them to him and have him merely sign where needed.

Relax. Keep in mind several things.

Most people that go thru the embassy experience do so in Spanish. He will have no problem and be able to do everything in his language.

You could fill out all the forms for him now and scan to him. He would then simply sign as required. He should get his birth cert translated there and get several copies with stamps ect. These will be needed later.

The work in these cases is mostly in the forms. The interview will prove to be easy for him.

What town does your fiance live in? There are many bilingual lawyers in Comayagua, but he can go to any LDS church (mormon) or tell him to find an American missionary group and surely they can help him. My best advice would be for him to get to a more populated town to get the help.

Also I hate to make any assumption but with 5 kids and a house would you be able to show enough AOS to get him approved? Reason I am asking is that I know consulate in Honduras are pretty thorough and tight with their AOS. I am in the military and I still have to submit multiple Tax Returns even after the W2s and mil paystub.

Either way best of luck but unless he can get to Comayagua, I cant be too helpful

Im not exactly sure of the little town he lives in but yes he will be able to get into town by bus. I will have a co- sponsor to help me out through all of this. When he was here we made it just fine but he was working. I dont owe a whole lot on my house at all. And own both of my cars no payments. I have a lady here helping us and she said to not worry about it and we would get. It done. He has family all over honduras so i am sure he will be ok i am just worrying to much.

You or your lady sponsor should contact the embassy to ask if they will even accept a co sponsor in a K 1 case.

But doesnt the I-160 form need to be e-filed? I can do that but i am worried about him filling out the one form online. Sorry i am new to all this. Thanks for all the help and advice.

No, there is no e-filing. You complete the form online and then print it out from online so it generates the bar code.

I did all my wife's forms and then sent them to her for signature and transport to the interview.
