AOS i-864 confusion

Good Day, I've been reading a lot about how to fill up an Affidavit of support but i am still confuse.

Here is the situation:

My husband (petitioner) asked his sister (they live in the same house) to be our household member sponsor.

So my husband will sign the I-864. And his sister will sign the I-864A. Her sister gave us her 1040 form. She is married and filling jointly with her spouse. How am I be able to determine her current individual annual income and her adjusted gross income by just using the 1040 form or the tax return? if i will put whatever it is in the 1040, i think i am going to get an RFE since the amount in their 1040 is what she and her husband make and not what she makes Alone. i mean how will i know how much she makes since the tax return shows their income as a couple?

she needs to give you copies of her W2s and letter from employer.

hi, thank you for your response, so does it mean i can find the answer for current individual annual income through her w'2s and employer letter? how about the Agi. adjusted gross income or total income? from W''2s too? thank you.

if the petitioner is not the main sponsor, does the petitioner need to fill up an AOS???

the petitioner is always the main sponsor even if he has zero income, he needs to sign up the AOS

If she does not have other source of income besides her job, her annual individual income is reflected on her W2.
