Hello VJers...

I _think_ I have all my documentation ready to (I compared against the different checklists) however, I have not been able to find a sample cover letter for the AOS application (130 and 485 forms). Could someone point to me a sample letter for this? I didn't find any on the example forms tab in this site.

Your help is greatly appreciated...it's going to be the best Christmas present ever...

One more question...reviewing my application for employment authorization, there's a portion asking for current status. I'm out of status right now, used to be F-1. What should I enter as my status?

And finally...how many pay stubs from this year should we send with the Affidavit of support? I can see that light at the end of the tunnel getting brighter and brighter...

I entered "tourist/out of status" on mine and it seems to be fine so far. I tried to find an answer to that question as well and couldn't, although someone suggested using the status that I had entered the US with and that seemed to make sense.

It says on the Affidavit of Support instruction page to include the last 6 months of pay stubs and a letter from your employer, if you feel that it will help you.
