fellow canadian advice needed: DS-160

I'm at the point where I'm filling out the DS-160 form abd I'm stuck on my number of times/length of time Ive been in the states. I live in a border town and have traveled back and forth to use the Buffalo airport or shopping. even to visit my fiance- we have been visiting each other for over 5 years and I can't recall every visit and length of stay.

if I miss date or cannot recall the exact length of time- could that have a negative effect on my interview and cayae for denial?

They understand that Canadian frequently travel to the US and are not issued a visa. Plus, at one point the POE simply waved cars through.

Write the dates you remember and add a statement about living in a border town and not remembering the times and length of stay of all visits but you were careful never to overstay or violate the terms of your admittance of a tourist
