NOA2 APPROVED IN OCTOBER.. WAITING FOR NVC CASE NUMBER

Got our NOA2 by email and text Oct 31 late at night of all things...

No NVC number yet as of last Friday. Will call tonight (Asia time) but its only been 20 days so my hopes are not too high.

So the CSC does NOT send notification that the application is forwarded to the NVC but the TSC does???

My status on the USCIS website says post decision activity but only states in writing that the case was approved the 31st.

I called USCIS and they said they don't give notification as to when the case is forwarded….

So I don't understand what people here are referring to when they state when their case was shipped off to the NVC??

We have our entire application ready with our lawyer in Bangkok so that when we get this darn number we can request the interview date right away.

I saw one person say they got an expedited interview by asking to be on standby…that seems interesting possibility. Means you need your medical exam done right away after getting your number right?

my service cent was vermont then was transfer to texas

We finally got our case number today from NVC. Thank God. NOA2 notice date 10.23.13. NOA2 hardcopy received 10.30.13 . Text message from USCIS that our case got updated 11.8.13. Checked USCIS website showed that the approve case was forwarded to DOS. Hang in there. The wait should be over soon.

Why ours is not getting updated in USCIS portal? It still the same since NOA2 :(

i have been waiting for my NVC case number as well. I ended up emailing them this morning (on their site it says emails preferred but we'll see)

Yep, correct. The final update you will see from CSC is your NOA2. However, TSC filers get an additional update when their case is shipped to NVC. I'm not sure about Vermont.

Yep, correct. The final update you will see from CSC is your NOA2. However, TSC filers get an additional update when their case is shipped to NVC. I'm not sure about Vermont.

I know we all have to wait, etc, but when is our case going to be shipped from USCIS to NVC?? Our NOA2 was Oct 30 from TSC and so far not a word from them...

It supose change to sipped this week.

My approved was october 23 and shipped to uscis on november 6 , my fiance calked on november 15 and got case number.

I guess it depends on the availability of interview slots in consulates because until now even though we are from tsc and noa2 october 24 our case was not shipped to nvc as well.

I just booked my fiancee's interview at USEM online. Right now earliest available date is Jan 28 ( 4 slots available). I also saw whole month of February as well as March available. The dates I chose and the day I finally decided to schedule has about 20 slots open. I don't know if these available days just opened up and that means you will get your MNL # soon. :)

My fiancee and I received our notice of approval on Oct 18, 2013. We are waiting for a notification from NVC: 35 days and counting.

We are on the same page, we are still waiting for TSC to ship it to NVC.

Hi my husband filed an i-130 for me and my son on september 2013, he received the approval notice on October 16, 2013. He was informed, he'll receive a notice from NVC within 30 days, but it has been over 4 weeks now and we haven't gotten anything yet. What should we do next? Anyway, our PD is September 6, 2013 under F2A category.. Are we current or not??? Your answer will be very much appreciated. Thank you and God Bless.
