Got our approval on October 24th and still haven't got any sort of update. Going to get my fiance to call and ask about it soon. He just got back to the states after a 2 week stay with me in New Zealand, so maybe tomorrow (he's feeling pretty tired/grumpy).

shipped to nvc nov 6

call on nov 13 got my case number just sharingsome info

Yes i did, my petition was approved on octuber 23 and uscis update on november 6 saying tat my petition was shipped to nvc.

If you status doesnt change to shipped on uscis page that means that they arent sent the petition to nvc, even if in the noa2 they say that they sent.

When you status change to shipped on uscis 10 or 12 days later you can call to nvc and you will get your case number.

Check the timeline to see which batch of NOA2 from CSC is currently being processed. I think for now it's up to OCT 16. Try calling them end of next week.. And I prefer DoS.

9/9/2013 - NOA 1

9/14/2013 - NOA Hardcopy recieved

9/27/2013 - Alien registration number was changed

10/28/2013 - NOA2 notification

12/16/2013 - Sent to NVC (--- this took WAY Too long)

12/27/2013 - Arrived at NVC

1/6/2013 - Packet 3

1/17/2014 - DS-160 submitted

1/21/2014 - Readiness form completed

2/7/2014 - Medical Completed

2/22/2014 - Letter from embassy with interview date

3/13/2014 - Interview!!!!!

If you status doesnt say shipped that means that they havent sent the case to nvc, even if you have recived the noa2.

When the status changes to shipped they have sent it to nvc.

We finally got our case number today from NVC. Thank God. NOA2 notice date 10.23.13. NOA2 hardcopy received 10.30.13 . Text message from USCIS that our case got updated 11.8.13. Checked USCIS website showed that the approve case was forwarded to DOS. Hang in there. The wait should be over soon.
