I second that, positive vibes to you all. I'm sure that good news will be on it's way sooner rather than later.

Thanks Shell20, there are also VJ members like your timeline of the NOA2 approval who got the update in USCIS " shipping of their case to NVC" hoping to get an update from USCIS portal this week or better yet from NVC :)

Our petition was shipped last Monday so I thought I would ring DoS today to see if it had reached the NVC.

The lady I spoke with asked when it had been approved and said it takes a few weeks from there. I said I had an email that it was shipped on Nov 4th and could she please still check. She said it was probably too early to call as its been taking a month or so for them to receive petitions and get case numbers. She checked and said mine wasn't there yet.

I think I'm gonna ring at the end of today. She sounded like she was trying to tell me off for asking and I can't see how it would take a month for it to be received after it was posted on Monday? I guess I sound a little crabby because I see people with similar NOA1 dates who have already got their case numbers, and some have theirs ready at the embassy. I know I should be patient, but I don't see how this stage has hold-ups when NOA2s are happening very quickly for 90% of people. Shouldn't this be a simpler step?

*sigh* Rant over lol.

I was approved on Oct 7th and still waiting for a case number. NBC and Memphis field office.

ours were approved Oct 21 from CSC so i guess will wait a little more weeks... i hope our case status in USCIS website also change... it hasn't change since the approval...

We're the following day (Oct 22) from CSC so not planning on starting to call for at least another 10 or so days.

From what I have read, I don't believe the USCIS issues any further status updates post-NOA2 for cases at CSC.

Oh you are from TSC too, yes USCIS approved our petition so quick, didnt even expect it, but NVC is quite a bit of slow assigning case number, but glad yours was updated in USCIS portal and know that it was shipped to NVC. I didnt get that update, knowing there are people with the same timeline and center as mine got their status update :( i know i have to be patient :) sending good vibes for you and me this week.

Hello. I called NVC today and I got my case number smile.pngsmile.pngsmile.png I'm guessing it got there either yesterday or today, as the lady said it wasn't there yesterday afternoon.

The guy who gave me my case number said that they still need to update the file, which I'm guessing is the reason I get this message on the CEAC website...

At NVC (in big bold letters at top of mini page).

Immigrant Visa Case Number: LNDxxxxxxxxxx

Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) for the next step in the processing of your visa petition. If you have misplaced the instructions sent to you by the NVC or did not receive them, please contact us athttp://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3177.html for additional information.
Hopefully those who have a similar approval date to me get theirs soon too. smile.png
