we are planning for her to go to bkk next Thursday morning. We are planning for her to arrive bkk, go for police clearance , stay at a hotel and go to bumrungrad hospital early Friday morning.Based on old packet 3 instructions at embassy web site,3-1"-1.5" photos and forms ds-2054,3030,3025 and 3026 required....is this correct? also could someone please make a hotel recommendation near the hospital? also embassy web site reflects use of I-864,not I-134...I hope this is not correct. thanks.....steve

It can take weeks to get the report so there is plenty of time for the medical no matter what the plan is. She is Thai and should know how to approach the police. This is sometimes just as we would hope it should be. Other times not so much. Some people are asked to call a cell number for example. That's not part of the procedure. There is now a small fee. Pay only the small fee.

I don't remember the p-3 instructions but its easier to do it than correct the error if you don't. There is a special pin number she can buy at any Thai post office that allows calls directly to the IV section. These calls must not be direct questions about her case; rather stated in general form.

I'll try to find the info for the little hotel we stayed at. Wasn't far. Very nice for about 40 to 50 bucks.

The 134 is used in K 1 cases. Tax transcripts are a good idea.

We stayed at the Samran Place. Typical small Thai hotel popular with farang and Thai. See www.samran.com

Not far to Sky Train or subway. Nice staff. Very good restaurant with free breakfast. My husband likes the A&W root beer place which is very near the hotel.
