Have a question regarding port of entry and Advance early parole>>>

First, does it really matter where you enter. We planned on Miami, but they have always seemed really tough, and I dont want a problem. Or should there be a problem anyway? Is it just a matter of formalities when my fiance enters on a K-1?

The other question is once she enters, if she needs to travel home or wants to for some reason, is AEP a good idea? And if so how long does it usually take to get the approval...Thanks...Greg

All of the POEs are the same. My wife came (on a K1) through Miami and was done with immigration and customs in about 15 minutes (she happened to be the first in line.) As long as she has the visa stamp in hr passport and the envelope from the embassy - there is no problem - its also easy to find people speaking Spanish in Miami airport' Don't worry its a piece of cake. (My wife knew very little English when she came) And if you get married soon and apply for AOS - it would take between 3 to 6 months so you can decide if she needs to travel before then - if yes then go ahead and spend the money for AP; we didn't. Good Luck

Greg,

Inventing a new immigration benefit? There is no such animal, only the same old advance 'when they get around to it' parole.
