2. Animals eat each other for their survival. Unlike humans we devour each other for no reason other than hatred.

Cats and dogs Hahahaha with the right master they are friends. I have a friend with two dogs and three cats they love each other.

With regard to Point 2, watch any wildlife show about lions, when there is a change in a pride's male. Any cubs sired by the previous lead male are systematically hunted down and killed by the incoming male.

It's not for food, it is to diminish, or eliminate, a bloodline.

Of course they are killed. Why would you want the children of the King you just killed growing up to kill you later. This is done by humans. A whole family is killed including kids so they will not have someone growing up and trying to kill them later.

It's more akin to genocide, which makes racism look positively tame in comparison.

What's interesting is that the incoming males kill all of the cubs, male and female. If it were just the male cubs, I would concede your point, as the males may indeed become a direct threat. The females, on the other hand, do not pose a direct threat. So killing them is not out of survival.
