10/07/2013: I -130 approved.

08/12/2013 : I-485, I-131, I-765 Packet sent.
08/15/2013: e-mail and text received from USCIS.
08/21/2013: received hard copy.
08/25/2013: received hard copy of biometrics for 09/13/2013.
08/27/2013: Done walk-in biometrics.
9/17/2013: I -485 status updated to testing and interview.

9/27/2013: I -485 status shows Interview date November 5th, 2013

10/11/2013: I-765 and I-131 got approved.

11/5/2013: Green card approved

11/5/2013: I -485 status shows card production.

11/5/2013: Status moved back to decision.

11/7/2013: I-485 status shows card production.

11/14/2013: Received green card for 10 years

Except for Mexico, F2A from other countries survive to live another month.

I believe until next buletin comes out Mexico is still at Sep 1, 2013. Am I interpreting the VB accurately? I have a question, let's say case x gets his interview date in the month of June for August 15, 20xx with his PD current. Now lets say a new bulletin comes out on Aug 11, 20xx and his PD is no longer current which was not the case when interview was scheduled. Although this VB released on Aug 11 is for September will the candidate not get his immigrant visa stamped on Aug 15, 20xx? Just want to understand better as to how to interpret the VB. I believe most recent VB on the date of interview needs to stay current, please correct me or give your thoughts?

2013-10-10: NVC received the case.

2013-10-15: Received Case number, IIN, Beneficiary number

2013-10-17: Received AOS and IV visa fee invoice email and paid both.

2013-10-21: AOS Fee status changed to PAID.

2013-10-21: IV Fee status changed to PAID. DS-260 is available.

2013-10-26: AOS Docs sent/IV Docs sent/DS-260 Submitted Online.

2013-10-28: NVC received the docs in the morning(Based on Fedex tracking).

2013-11-21: Checklist.

2013-12:20: Case complete : By Phone

2013-12-28 : Case complete email from NVC

2014-01-29: Called DOS for Interview date. Set for March 21,2014.

2013-01-29 Night: Interview Letter by email.

2014-02-03: Finished fingerprinting and Photograph at VAC

2014-02-08: CEAC status changed to "Ready"

2014-02-13: Medical scheduled

2014-03-18: Will try to fly out to Mumbai to be with my wife for her Interview. Not sure if the embassy will let me in but at least want to be there. :-)

2014-03-21: Interview

2014-03-21: VISA approved as per CO. We were told to expect the passport in 3-5 business days.

2014-03-21: CEAC Status"Issued" SAME DAY.

In your example, he/she gets the interview when his PD is current so for the month of August, PD is still current whose bulletin came in July. So until August 31st the VB is current for that person. On Aug 11th, Sep bulletin gets released but takes in to effect from Sep 1st and not from Aug 11th. So in other words since the VB was current in Aug, he should get his/her stamp at the consulate.

Honestly what this VB is saying is the following one:

January dates for F2A won't move except Mexico.

Which means congrats for the people with interviews in January.

After that We will see...

Hey...Vkrishna & Papaya07...Hi...I m from India and will be filing for my wife next week. Can u pls tell me which docs u guys sent in ur I-130 Package so that i can make a final look at my package.

All i hav is the following docs :

1. I-130

2. G-325A forms of mine & wife

3. Marriage cert

4. Mine BC

5. Wife's BC

6. My Passport copy

7. My GC Copy

8. Wife's Passport copy including my name as her husband

What else do u guys think should i include more.....???

Yes looks like that....lets hope it stays like that for next 4 months at least we all will be good in that case hopefully.

I think that they will first give visas to those who filed a petition before the 8 SEP 2013. And then priority date will be changed.

DOS has to publish Demand data till Nov 2013 to know the exact number of cases in the queue for an assessment of PD movement. They haven't published the data in some months so its hard to figure out the movement right now. If F2A gets spill over (don't know from where) then there is a possibility that dates will move but hard to say the movement again. I think there would be some movement in July next year so that they use the year's quota before Oct 2014 when the new allocations show up.
