Have not received medical invitation letter.

Hello,

My fiancee just completed DS-160 to schedule for interview on Nov-26th, and she scheduled for Medical check up on Nov-8th, but they were not accept because she does not have the medical invitation letter & case number including. They tried to call to consulation and ask but there were no respond or any status update.

Please give me some suggestions in this case and how to get medical invitation letter. Because she had an interview appointment on this Nov-26th.

There were something change for nonimmigrant visa since this Oct.

Because you dont update your timeline so it is hard to know where are you right now. You cant schedule the interview date by yourself. The Embassy sent the letter to your fiancee for package 3 and require for DS-160, 2 visa photo, copy of passport and DS-2001. The embassy will send the letter to let you know the interview date and you can use that letter for medical exam.

How does she know that her interview date is Nov-26?

Contacted Ombudsman on 01/12/2015.

Ombudsman contacted USCIS on 02/20/2015.

Ombudsman sent a follow up to USCIS on 03/18/2015.

I-485 approved on 03/31/2015 ( we ordered your card).

Welcome notice was mailed on 04/01/2015.

Received Welcome Notice on 04/08/2015.

Card was mailed to me/picked up by USPS on 04/08/2015.

Received GC on 4/10/2015.

I think they are all use electronic fill up for form DS-160, and scheduling for interview. after filed up the D160, it showed up the dates for you to pick as interview.

Any better ways to resolve this issue? Or do we have to wait?

I guess you need to wait for them to reply your email. They changed to DS-160 by electronically but I still believe Embassy in VietNam wont allow scheduling interview date by yourself. Even you can do it online but it still means nothing to Embassy in VietNam. We have waited more than 2 months and still got nothing from Embassy ( We filled the DS-230 form instead of DS-160). Good Luck.

U will not get medical letter by mail, after the NVC notify you the interview date, they send you an attachment to your email, you will need to print it out about 6 pages and bring it to you medical exam that all you need.....

That is for IR1-CR1 visa where NVC schedules the interview date. Embassy will schedule interview date for K-1 visa.
