I would like to share to you guys my interview experience.

- I arrived at the embassy 6 am and the line was already long. They let us in around 6:30... they checked my passport, ds 160 confirmation page and appointment letter. They will give a ziplock plastic to put your passport in.

- As you enter the embassy there's a security check. Food, water and gadget are not allowed.

- line up at the Ticket booth to get your queue number. And they told me to drop my appointment letter at window 39 and wait for your number to flash on the screen.

- at the waiting area there's a small canteen wherein you can buy food and eat at the waiting area.

-ClockWatch2.gif

- 7:40 am my number flashes on the screen for biometric finger screening @ window 42 (American staff). He ask my name and birthdate.

- ClockWatch2.gif @ the waiting area

- @ 8:50 am my number flashes on the screen. Window 49 (Filipino consul), he ask my name and birthdate and original documents ( passport, nso birth certificate, cenomar, updated nbi clearance, affidavit of support (Form I-134) and latest ITR. It took 5 mins before he start questioning coz he's looking on all the documents and on their file and he said "just relax ok it will take awhile..."

QUESTIONS BEING ASKED in tagalog; ( 10 mins)

* whats your address? Where is this place?

* So, you are born @ Pola Oriental Mindoro? Where's Pola? I'm not familiar with it... What's the nearest city?

* How old is your fiancée?

* When and how did you meet?

* Is your fiancée divorce? how many times?

* Does he have children from previous marriage? how many? ages?

* Have you ever been married?

* Do u have kids? how many? age?

* Is your son joining someday? Who's gonna take good care of him for awhile?

* Do u have other pictures with you?

*** The Filipino consul is so nice he always smile and after seeing our scrapbook he asked me to take a seat and wait for the next step which is the American consul. Before I left his window I said " Thank you sir and smiled..."

- ClockWatch2.gif @ waiting area

- @ 11:15 am my number flashes on the screen Window 61 (American Consul) . We greeted each other and smile . He asked me to raise my right hand and read the oath that was posted at the window ( oath was in English and tagalog, you can chose what ever u want). He start asking questions....

QUESTIONS BEING ASKED; ( 5 mins)

* your name and birthdate?

* your fiancée's name?

* how and when did you meet?

* age of his children?

* Is your fiancée leaving alone?

* Does your fiancée own his house?

* so, did you guys rent a condo here? for how long? where?

** the American consul look at our pictures ( the one that was submitted with I-129F) and liked it. He even commented that " you guys got a good camera ha... your pictures looks great, clear and beautiful." Then he told me...." I think your documents is complete and you're good to go"dancin5hr.gif OMG!!!! I was speechless for a min and then I said " Thank you so much Sir!" He asked me to wait for the last step (release section). Again, I said " thank you Sir and have a nice day..and smiled" good.gif

- after 30 mins my number was called at window 73 (Filipino staff), He ask my name and birthdate and looked at our file. He said you can go home now and just wait for your visa ... and I thank him and smiled.

*** I felt like I'm flying in the sky while leaving the embassy... all I want is to rush to the hotel and call my fiancée and tell him the good news coz for sure he's a bit worried and anxious to hear everything.

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU TO HANK for all the help and for answering my PMs you've been a great help and also to my friend Zentastic who's always there. And mostly to my family and my fiancée for the support and love... above all to our Almighty Father, prayers helps a lot...

To all the vj members out there... Good Luck also in your journey!!!
