Obamacare may be modified as has been the case with most major pieces of legislation but it isn't going to be cancelled or scrapped. That is unless the realization that the private insurance based system is not serving the best interest of the country can be translated into the political will to introduce a more efficient system. Anyone who thinks that this country is going back to where we were prior to Obamacare, call me, I've got a few nice bridges to sell.

no. no matter which party is calling the shots, Obama & the dumbs train wreck will have to be fixed.

get ready for another deduction line on your paycheck. we're headed for single payer healthcare. its the only sensible fix.

what I don't understand is: the dems had complete control, why didn't they push the single payer harder to begin with? imo-they were afraid of the next election. I don't think they're going to like the next several after this debacle.

They'll overturn Obamacare the same way they've overturned the last big health care entitlement law they've fought tooth and nail. That was Medicare. They've had control of Congress and the White House several times for many years since Medicare became law. So, they've overturned that, haven't they?

I certainly hate being wrong and I am not too proud to admit it. Some just take a little longer to mature into a comfortable self esteem.

I had never considered your POV until today. I like it. It fine tunes the differences between a bigot & racist. Bottom line is common sense = a "true" racist would never marry outside of his / her own race...yep...I like the POV Smoke. I will do some reading to see if others (credible others) hold the same position. I think will be an interesting study.

(btw...I hope you don't mind me helping fire up TB...I enjoy seeing him get all sweated up trying to prove his own merit...he's a comic book full of laughs.)

No1 is arguing the quality of a Racist or Bigot. (right?) Of course their dickheads....& It's not a bout "caring". It's about competing POV and furthering 1s understanding by putting POV up for discussion and debate = Fun. yep...Fun. & with the fun comes some intellectual development & maybe some character / spirituality / morality improvement...(shrug) imo.
