Alas, you are still missing it. Calling a black person ####### or the N-word is racist, no matter who says it.

Calling the POTUS 'Kenyan' as a means to imply he is less an American then the rest of us is [driven by racism and] utterly ignorant.

In either case, it says far more about the person using these terms than the object of their attempted veiled derision.

Calling him Kenyan is part of the birther movement = if the birthers were right - he is "less American" than a true citizen thus ineligible to be POTUS. That's not racism.

Let's assume he really is a Kenyan citizen...would it be racist to state the fact? No. Birthers are still holding out he is not really a USC. They summarize their belief by calling him Kenyan. Disrespectful? Maybe, Racist? No.

I see street signs with American Icon names. Perhaps Kenya should build a giant sign "Welcome to Kenya! Home of Barack Obama!!"....?

But they aren't right. So why continue, other than to just look insane?

He is just as American as any other American citizen by birth. Why try to downplay it? Why try to focus on one aspect of his heritage and not the other?

Bingo. I almost posted that. My example = H2 has a whole series about Ancient Alien theory. Mainstream Science thinks these guys are nuts. (but) They are holding true to their beliefs. Birthers are doing the same...it's up to each person to decide - are the birthers crazy?..or whatever label one chooses to pin on their buttocks.

Which they are not, as evidenced by their continued displays of stupidity.

I would bet he is more of an American - according to the birther credo - than many of those calling him Kenyan...

But they aren't right.

There was never any reason to think that there's even a remote chance that they might be right. It was crystal clear to any sane person all along that Obama is a natural born citizen of the United States of America. There's only one reason why these birthers ever questioned his status as a natural born citizen of this country. And that reason is the color of his skin. Nothing else.

I'm not a birther...I followed the story (a little) for entertainment value...amazes me how many clowns walk the streets in business suits. lol. As far as I'm concerned - O produced a birth certificate. Game over. IRC - birthers claimed the certificate a fake. What I know - he's still our POTUS...next.

I heard a guy say - "successful people face forward"...I like that.

"Nothing else" is a very bold and broad claim. Please prove it.

Coz...from what little I've read - it was a stupid smear ploy dreamed up by a Clinton supporter. Is that supporter a known racist? IDK...do you?

Where are the birthers when dual citizen, Canadian born Cuban off-spring Rafael Edward Cruz talks about his Presidential ambitions? That's right. Nowhere to be found and not to be heard from.

Correct...but...c'mon...even O admitted politics is "over the top" sometimes. It certainly ain't about fair play. & I bet a Dem birther movement will spring up if / when Cruz enters the race. The fact you and others are already pointing out his Canadian Cuban connections...hmmmm...maybe I missed it....has it already begun? Seems the answer is = Yes. Hell....Christie might even send some funding under the table. lol I wouldn't blame him if he did. Politics is nasty.

But calling him African..well thats all sprinkles and glitter. Does not African american imply he is less than 100%american. Both are stupid is my point

Think about it.

Why do you believe Obama is the first President to face this "birther" movement?

And yet a Republican, who WAS actually born in another country... gets no similar attention? His mother was an American, so that's enough to satisfy people. Yet Obama's mother is American as well, and somehow... he's still "the Kenyan" ...

His father's heritage somehow now defines Obama, and his mother's heritage is ignored by the same people who are worshipping Ted Cruz.

That's not odd?

There will be no birther movement surrounding Ted Cruz. Everyone knows he was born in another country, but his mother's American, so that's the end of that story.

Yet someone else whose mother is American but was born in THIS country... is still thought to be a foreigner who shouldn't be President.

Boggles the mind how that kind of "logic" works.

They will spring up and you will be the flag bearer
