hello all! my fiance just got approved today, and some of you asked for his interview questions, so here they are!

1. what is your fiances birthdate?

2. what do you do for a living?

3. what does your fiance do for a living?

4. does your fiance have any brothers or sisters?

5. how long have you two known each other?

6. did you two meet in person? where and for how long?

thats all the questions i can remember. my fiance said that he went an hour early to the embassy, and they told him to come back 15 minutes before his interview time. he had to check in his phone and stuff, and went through a metal detector, and was passed along from room to room, where they asked to see his ds-160 and his police report and i-134 and supporting documents and the birth certificate. (he had his birth certificate and police report translated beforehand). he went through another metal detector, and the alarm went off. the security guard yelled at him "stop there stop right there!" and he was shocked like :o!! and the guard was like, JK:) so he went on till they called his name for the interview. the interviewer was apparently very nice, always smiling, and understanding. he took his fingerprints and thumbprints, then asked him the questions. then the interviewer said "i dont see anything wrong with your documents, youre approved. come back monday to get your visa!" :):):):):)

i hope this helps! good luck to everyone still in waiting xoxo

I thought it was funny that my wife (fiancee at the time) was never asked any questions. Once the interviewer found out we met with a call center call she just talked about the people they used to call in the United States (she had also been an agent at one time) and after 15 minutes she walked through approved ---- no questions asked. dancin5hr.gif

Thanks for posting about the interview. What supporting documents did they ask to see? I am little worried because my tax transcripts for previous years did not meet the poverty level (I was a full time student). I currently make well over that and have a letter from my employer stating I am a permanent employee making that amount. I was wondering how much emphasis is put on the past and if they look at those documents super close. Thanks again and Congrats!
