Hi was wondering if i have to count my kids as household members on the i-864 as they dont live with me.i have read that i have to count them even if they dont live with me... and if i have to will that be a problem for me or my joint sponsor? i dont make enough money to sponsor my husband so i have to have a joint sponsor. Thanks fellow vj'ers

Yes you would count in your household count but your sponsor no they just count your husband and their household.

yes you have to count your kids. If you already don't make enough money or have assets to qualify, and need a joint sponsor, then no it will not affect anything.

You count as fully dependent any child who is not an adult no matter of the living situation . It counts in your household only because you have to support you , them and immigrant Your co sponsor does NOT count your children They count themselves, any spouse, any minor children , any other immigrant they sponsored and the new immigrant.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
