I was getting worry that since the day I receive the NOA2 on August 27, NVC kept telling me to call in two weeks and so forth...Finally, on October 28th I receive an email that they have received my petition and was forward to the embassy..to my surprise on October 31st I receive another email from the embassy of my fiancée's country that they have received my approve petition. Don't loose faith and instead prepared all the documents needed, because now my fiancé is waiting on my original documents!!

As per the best of my friend knowledge.... The NVC is being bombarded with a lot of cases within the pass 4 months getting behind, employee vacations leave and other internal scenarios are affecting the NVC volumen of work ... Therefore no more quick sent to embassies until they balanced the work load, perhaps next years they can get closer also we have to consider that the government budget was fix for 6 more months.. Thousands of visas still in the back burner for other internal descisons therefore you are a lucky one.

November and December are not good months for the NVC cases sent out therefore do not expect miracles................... Therefore you visa is being approved for an interview at the American Embassy that is all the NVC give to the Embassy official the final say. When you visa arrived to the Embassy the visa is assigned to a representative that will call you or email you with the packaged 3-4 the packageis just a terminology it is an indications via email of what you need to have; mail letter to you home will followed in order to prepare yourself for the interview. The person who is assigned your case will review it extreme proficient and is the person who will meet you at the window interview day, try to insult his or her intelligence is bad.

They are responsibles for the people coming to usa in a legal manner, therefore they have the last say. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE

original documents??? are what exactly?

I meant original signatures for Forms DS-156, I-134, and letter of intent. It's all email in packets 3/4, too. Not the forms, but the list of documents requested from the embassy is what's email.
