I have my I-485 interview tomorrow morning. I had applied over a year ago but my fingerprints were rejected twice so I am asked to bring my police records to the interview as well. It was not stated on the paper that I bring anything else, or that my husband join me, but I have read that others have brought in all sorts of documents?

Should I be bringing in other documents/pictures or will my police records suffice (since that is the only thing they explicitly asked for).

It's confusing because when I go to the case status page and type in my receipt number for my AOS, it still says it's being "reviewed" (on the first step). It's been a year since I initially applied, went to biometrics twice (Dec and Jan of last year), and just got the notice to get the police clearance in Sept. I am asked to bring them in but I'm not sure if this is the actual interview or what (though it says on the paper I am to bring them in. It doesn't say to bring in anything else)

Confused.

If that's all they asked for explicitly it should suffice.

I know on my interview letter I was given a very long list of items to bring which included my USC spouse as well as copies and originals of everything submitted in my AOS package, my photo ID, and any additional "proof of bona fide marriage" documents I might want to submit (althoug in the end none of this was asked for exceot my ID). Also, I was on TN status, so I brought my I-94 which was taken at the end of my interview in exchange for my approval notice. I would go prepared, but if you feel comfortable you have read the notice and instructions very carefully, I suppose the police record will suffice.

Is this your real appointment for your "First interview" or just an appointment to drop off the police cert?

What does your letter say, on the top?
