Not I. Was finally able to pay the IV bill on Friday. Waiting for Malian immigration to hurry up with my husband's passport so we can send in the IV civil documents.

Back when we started this whole process, I had calculated that November would be the longest we'd have to wait for an interview. Now it's looking more like January/February.

07/25/14 - AOS bill paid

07/30/2014 - AOS package sent

08/18/2014 - add-on AOS package sent (learned that I should have sent 2 separate I-864s even though the cases are joined...oops!)

09/19/2014 - IV bill paid

09/26/2014 - AOS checklist received

11/09/2014 - DS 260 completed online

We just have to be strong and have faith. Both my payments had been made and the documents sent. Just waiting for them to be reviewed the wait time is unbelievable.

How long ago did you reply to your rfe? also did you check to see if you are on security check? because it seems this is the reason many of us are waiting.

Still waiting also. Got my Senator involved and this was the response we got:

We spoke with the background Supervisor regarding Ms. Sxxxxxxxx petition. The Supervisor informed me that Ms. Sxxxxxxxx petition will be pulled from the holding shelf and assigned to a background check officer for priority review. Once the background check review process has been completed, Ms. Sxxxxxxxxx petition will then be sent to an adjudication officer for final review.

If your constituent has not received a notice of action or any other information within 21 business days from the date of this message, please contact us for an update.

Before this I was informed that it was pending security check. So what is it doing on a holding shelf? Gathering dust!!!

Sadly enough we also received a checklist. Our useless attorney put the wrong income number from my 2013 1040 tax return into box 13.a.1 (he used AGI). I sent a new AOS in myself that has a scan date of today 9/24. 60 days down the toilet. I'm not as upset as I was 10 days ago, but I'm still simmering over this entire process. What should take 90 days at NVC takes 6 months, and checklists are reviewed in the same que as first time documents. 2 months to review one single number in one single box that is the same number that appears on the attached tax return. Total lunacy. You'd think they would have a process for dealing with a simple typo versus other cases that have evidential or qualification shortfalls. But....that would be too efficient for our government to implement.

Rosalit is crushed as it looks like another Christmas without us together in our home.

We are still waiting for our NOA2, it has been 316 days. I seriously don't know what to do anymore, I wanted to file a request with the Ombudsman but they need "supporting documentation" which sounds like we have to send them everything we included with our petition? Problem is, my husband didn't make a copy before he submitted our I-130 so now i don't know how to handle this....

6/5/2013 got married

11/14/2013 mailed I-130

11/19/2013 I-130 NOA1 (NSC)

12/20/2013 mailed I-129f (just in case)

12/27/2013 I-129f NOA1 (NSC)

1/2/2014 ARN changed on both I-130 and I-129f

1/7/2014 I-129f updated/touched?

11/10/2014 NOA2 FINALLY!!! (after 356 days & 4 service requests)
