I have not received any email stating that my petition was shipped to nvc. Only the approval notice. Can they ship it without informing you?

Yes. It can ship without any notice to you. I never received an email nor was the USCIS case status updated, but our case was transferred to the NVC and received May 29. Our NOA2 was May 8.

Yes. It can ship without any notice to you. I never received an email nor was the USCIS case status updated, but our case was transferred to the NVC and received May 29. Our NOA2 was May 8.

Congratulations to all the recent approvals! It is encouraging to see so many in recent days. And trying to stay positive while waiting for my approval, when possible feels a lot better than being bitter at the whole ordeal.

Ugh now I just got a response to my service request saying that it should have been filed by the petitioner....but my husband can't file a new one online since we already filed one for that case number and he doesn't have time to call today...Come on NSC, just approve my petition :(

Hi guys! RFE hard copy arrived... husband couldn't give me too much detail since this was through text but... apparently they want passport size photos... (say whaaaaa??) People have been getting RFEs for that a lot lately... wonder what's up with that...

But... at least something simple thank god! I can see approval coming soon (hopefully!!! don't want to jinx it!)

:) at this pace maybe I'll have a visa by october?? :D How long is it taking for case complete bla bla bla these days u guys??

Fingers crossed for you Norris but I wouldn't get your hopes up for September. Nvc is taking four months right now from case received date so unless they get rid of the backlog and start moving..... :( I was hoping for September too, it's my first wedding anniversary on the 27th x
