Hubby called again and lady at 1st said that processing times was 5 months... then that she needed to clarify something... 2 seconds later she says... we are currently working on 11/5/2013... call in a few weeks... almost 7 months and nothing!

Even though I know I'm with an officer now, I am still in the same boat as you. It's so infuriating seeing all of these people ahead of us get approvals.

Finally approved! Found out via mail from the wifey! Was actually approved on the 21 of May and she just opened her mail today as she was visiting me for the Memorial Day wknd here in Canada. It's strange that when I check the uscis website online and type in my case status number is still says pending approval but my wife received the hard copies today. Anyways, looks like tsc is picking up the pace.

Doesn't matter if they're backed up, should take 30 days max. The backlog would affect the amount of time it takes to get a case number, not when they actually receive it.

How did you know that it was with an officer? My Congressional rep's immigration liason spoke to the guy on the phone.

How much more freakishly annoying can this process get?? I've been obsessing over my case to the point of illness, and they're not even updating the cases on the website?? OMG.

Congrats on your approval, I hope TSC approves mine soon. I'm SO done with long distance.

Peace all. :)

Holy #######- I was just about to call USCIS again to attempt to put in a service request and decided to check the USCIS website one last time. WE GOT APPROVED!! :content: I am beyond ecstatic and in total disbelief.

PD Nov. 15th. I'm off to update the spreadsheet.

Question: Is it normal that it shows approved on their website and I haven't yet received an email?
