we sent in 8 wedding and honey moon photos with our I-130 and my husband got a package in the mail today with the photos and

a letter from uscis saying they are returning our originals and they should not be re-submitted unless requested.

is this normal??

I got an RFE as well on the 1-129F I filed. I thought USCIS was combing them? Should I even bother with it? I want to go forward with my I130. Please help.

Hello All -

First post here on vj - I am a USC and applied the I-130 for both of my parents. My PD for both was 11/12/13 at NSC - I just got an text for approval

Thought I was hallucinating but it is for real. I have been a silent observer and you guys have helped me a lot in dealing with all the waiting albeit without knowledge

So I just want to say thank you to all - and for the people that have yet to receive responses - Hang in there - the end is nearer than we think hopefully -

RCVD RFE in the mail today.

They want passport photos of me and passport photos of my husband.

WHICH I SENT ALREADY A WHOLE SET.

So - now because it's a holiday weekend, going to have to wait till tuesday to get this done. But phew - it wasn't nothing major. But that means they probably LOST all I sent them.

I forgot to mention one thing i did contact Senator last Friday about my case so i don't know it has sumthing to do with my approval

So how long did you wait before contacting a senator? My pd is January 30th and I'm at TSC. I know I still have some waiting time but I want to get a general idea of when I should, because I plan to.
