I-130 November Filers

I can totally empathize with the feeling you have, plus I had the head scratcher of wondering how it could happen when I paid a lawyer a metric ####### ton of money to avoid this very thing. We received our RFE on May 7 and today they sent me an email that they received the response on May 19. I figure that at best it's a wasted 2 weeks of our lives, but then again they could make us sit around for who knows how long while the response collects dust. I really am sorry you got this news rather than what we all want here. I wouldn't wish this torture on anyone (except our elected officials).

I would probably beat up my lawyer for that !

but I don't have one so if we get a rfe I am gonna be mad at myself.

anyways I hope that now everything is going to be fine

I am following Nov thread with a heart full of hope that I will see bunch approvals everyday so then can move quickly to Dec !

I haven't received the email yet stating that they received my RFE response and it was sent the same day as early morning hours. Don't know what happens to Texas Service Center.

Just got off the phone with USCIS and wanted to update you all. Once again, she told me that the NSC is not accepting service requests for PDs that are past the current date they're working on. She told me that they are still working on November 5th. When I told her that that is the same date they gave me when I called 2 weeks ago, she explained that they only update those current dates about once a month. She checked and said that their most current date (Nov. 5th) was updated back on May 6th. So, according to her, they probably won't update that until around June 6th.

I know! I've seen people with later PD be successful with phone SR and e-requests. I've tried both, several times, and keep getting denied.

I explained that to the phone representative, that I know people with later PDs who have put in SRs but she insisted that the computer system won't accept them for any dates later than Nov. 5th. I have gotten this same answer from 6 different agents (Tier 1 and Tier 2) and from 2 e-requests.

I do t even understand what evidence they would need. Since they have everything they asked for on the application. My husband is so heartbroken. I told him we will wait and see. I don't understand why they can't just tell you

Wow. Vote for that dude! If memory serves correctly, fellow September filers who received this letter from their helpful Senators, saw an approval shortly after this letter. :-)

WE GOT APPROVED TODAY FROM THE VSC! PRAISE TO GOD! I STAYED UP ALL NIGHT CRYING AND WOKE UP TO GREAT NEWS. MY PD 11/12/2013 AND I PUT IN SR 5/19/2014!
