I believe you will get an approval soon too. Same thing happened to me. I put in my application 18th feb 2014 and got approved May 8th. Check my timeline. 3 weeks before my approval I was sent an email too for change of name. I quickly called USCIS to correct the mistake and in 3 weeks I got my approval letter. So I hope for the same for u..

Nice to see a faint glimmer of hope. Congrat and good luck with the rest of your journey,

HURRY UP, TSC!!!

Peace.

It worries me how slow Texas service center is operating compared to other service center handling cases already from January. If they continue to operate this slow, then all us Texas filers will be left out. Even though I am a March Texas filer, it has already started me worried because alot of September and October filers from Texas are not approved Yet!!!

Come on Texas service center!!! We need you back up and running...... :crying:

Normal processing time right now is 6 to 8 months, above case is exception, i dono in what circumstances that case is approved in under 3 months bracket but that also give hope to all of us who are waiting now for more than 5 months.

M also Dec filer and right now no news of approval even after more than 5 months.

Hope for the best, but keep in mind, 5 to 8 months :) cheers

Hey everybody!!

Just joined vj, and have just finished reading this thread after two hours. My wife and I filed in November on the 6th and are still awaiting 130 approval.

So far I haven't heard a thing from uscis not even an update or an rfe! I log in every day sometimes twice maybe three times a day and it still looks the same as it always has. Hopefully we will hear something soon it's getting tougher every day. By the way she is American and I am Canadian.

I have one question for this thread so far. So we got married in Michigan and the marriage cert is obviously michigan from kalamazoo and filed in kalamazoo. Since I live in Ontario, do I have to file the marriage here too? Since I havent filed it here in Ontario will this have an impact on our approval or does it matter? Tia

By the way thank god for this thread you guys are have been awesome

POE - Husband finally in America!

2016 Year Update - Still married and welcomed our daughter in December 2015!

Posted

Guys I put in a SR Friday and they made me give a US address (I'm abroad with hubby) so I gave my dad's name and address and she said she'd add it.

Today my uscis check status update said that the address has changed. I thought she only wanted a US address and to change it for the SR.

Will this cause problems?

Does this mean I could be closer?

I dunno if this is good or bad.
