Funny I thought you were describing the US. If you're looking for the government to help you when you're sick then you're definitely coming to the wrong country, sure they'll help you at the hospital but they'll stick you with a $800,000 fee (not making that up) that will bankrupt you for the rest of your life. Luckily credit from the US does not follow you overseas though :)

I used to think it would be hard to leave a country with the nhs but it is being killed off. While the US is trying to find ways to improve the healthcare system, the govt here are looking for ways to destroy ours. It'll be gone in 5 years :'(

Anyone heard of any approvals this week? Has everywhere done a TSC and fallen asleep?

Yeesh that sucks. That's what you get for electing the Tories though. Can't say I sympathize too much with illegal immigrants in the UK though.

In any event as soon as I get all my Network, Cisco, etc. certs and attain my desired spot as a network engineer I'll be packing my bags and moving to Deutschland :D I can't wait to get out of this country. And please don't believe the hype about Obamacare, it was a scam and a total sellout to the drug and insurance companies, not to mention to the "Not for Profit" hospitals that pay their boards million dollar bonuses every year. For most people who get their insurance through our companies absolutely nothing changed, we still pay exorbitant rates for health insurance that will abandon us at the soonest possibility. We still have the worst health care "system" in the industrialized world. For all of its lack of modern equipment I am thoroughly convinced that India does a better job of providing its many poor people with affordable health care than this country does.

Hell of a lot of activity in Vermont for January filers. I think another phone call today is needed.

I agree ... Does anyone have a link to one that they used before? We could all copy it, edit and then we could pick a day/time and send all at once like they did last time. If we ALL do it and have similar letters it might get their attention.

I'm ready to jump aboard this too. Email, petition, hard copy, whatever. The current trending is troublesome and I do not believe it is by accident. I'm thinking they picked May to hit their goals because they knew they would fall behind again for whatever reason. So they get themselves caught up for a moment in time to get the heat off them and get a few articles published that things look a bit better now. Then they have an opportunity to shift resources again. It smells in my opinion.

No approvals in TSC this week and only few in NSC or VSC. We need to keep the pressure up.

I'm in too. If they work at this pace, i130 approval time will again skyrocket especially for Texas!!!

What did they want??

It didn't say. The email said exactly what you would see on the website. Something was mailed out, follow the instructions, blah, blah blah. I'm going to be 45 in August. My wife and I would like to have at least one child. Needless to say I would rather not be going to a high school graduation with a Hov-a-round scooter. This has already taken too long, way too long. Particularly when the number of people who qualify for expedited processing seem to outnumber those who don't. This is one of those times, and those times are growing much more frequent, when my patriotism and love of country are seriously put to the test.

I'm going to put together a letter tonight, in the hope of comments and adds. One we can all send. Is there a list already complied of the relevant emails? Time to get proactive before we all end up at 9 months.

Oppressive regime, very few opportunities for any sort of growth, the whole enforcement of religion thing, amongst other things. I got in trouble with the police there once when I was 13 because I had my hair out -_-

A lot more can be said, though it may be best not to do so on a public forum :/

Totally Agree
