I called them five minutes ago and they told me they are working on November 1st applicants. So I asked how long that would take and she said 2-3 days. So I said I'm at the ending of November. Does that mean it's going to take about five more months to finish mine. And she said she doesn't know. I hate that they can't even get their information correct. I'm going to call everyday and harass them now.

Well, I just called and spoke to a tier 2. I was told that Texas is running processing times 6.5 months and that my case is within normal processing time. My PD is November 11 so I will be coming up on 6 months soon and 6.5 by May 25th.

Texas went comatose over 3 weeks ago for I-130 processing. Aside from a few expedites I see nothing happening. But Texas is rocking and rolling approving the I-129s with a some February and March dates already approved. It's crazy. I don't want to jealous of other's good fortune, but this is getting pretty disheartening. I think we're going to see Nebraska and California November approvals mushroom here soon, but Texas I'm afraid appears another month behind and falling further back each day if your filing an I-130 :(

That said, I'm glad to see some of my friends here get their approvals. That does help lift the spirits a little.

So it seemed to me that I've seen way way too many September and October approvals for there to still be a completion rate anything less than 100% on the corresponding spreadsheets. Maybe I'm being a little bit Captain Obvious here, but I just started to notice that a good deal of these new approval entries were made by people who joined VJ well after those spreadsheets were created and they were never added to the spreadsheets since joining :\ Ugh, every time I saw a September/October approval, I kept thinking to myself we're a little closer to seeing those spreadsheets cleared out, and by extension, a little closer to seeing November pick up in volume. I'm beginning to remind myself a little bit of the Ren & Stimpy episode "Space Madness".

I'm in shock that anyone remembers the names of Ren and Stimpy episodes, lol.

Seriously, I think they are all into November now with some stragglers needing more attention. VSC have no timeframe but they have sent an rfe to someone 12#s after me.

Call them, keep asking for a tier 2, it's worth it!

Does anyone know how skype credit works? I will need to buy some for when I need to call NVC, it seems like a cheaper option, apparently I can get a free month of unlimited calls and then 10euro a month for calls to the USA? has anyone had any experience with this?

Just call the number like an ordinary or mobile number and it should tell you if you need or have credit for the call., £10 lasts ages. I used to use it for calling my wife's mobile when Skype was being difficult. It's much clearer.

Just call the number like an ordinary or number, it will tell you how much credit you have.

On YT, there is a video on how to get to speak to a uscis agent. I can't upload on phone but I will later if anyone can't find it. You bypass talk about your case and go on to the change of address tool. Very interesting.

Hi all, my wife filled for me on the first of Nov, we are together in Saudi Arabia. we received NOA1 on 5 nov via email and routed to the USCIS Nebraska Service Center for processing. but we didn't receive the hared copy :clock: and after several calling to uscis we find that they send it to wrong address.

we spoke to tier 2 officer, she was so nice and helpful. finally we received NOA1 heard copy on 14 Jan 2014 :dancing: .

now we are waiting, I'm thinking to call them on 15 May, if we did not get NOA2.

Wish you all the best :luv:
