OMG!!!!!! YAY!!!!!! I am so happy for you guys….. I was about to send you a message to commiserate with you about the horrible hold time with the center…but this is amazing. Congratulations :goofy: …. I bet you it feels surreal and it must have felt really weird when you must have seen it at 6 AM in the morning….enjoy it….STEP 1 done….moving on NVC…. i would definitely say over the weekend GO OUT ADN ENJOY AND PARTY>>….you deserve it……hopefully we will all follow suit…..

It did feel surreal, woke my husband up. Poor guy, he got such a shock he didn't know what was going on, I was just jumping around like a little kid at christmas! hahaha

I'll be working tonight but off work tomorrow, and boy we're going to celebrate tonight when I get home, a beer run is needed!! lol :D

UNFORTUNATELY, I called USCIS again today and was transferred to a tier 2 again who told me he can't change my address and there's nothing we can do other than send a letter to NSC and hope they receive it before we get sent to NVC. Have the letter printed and in an envelope ready to be mailed tomorrow, I'm also going to fax teh same letter to the general USCIS place just in case. We're really hoping now to be in the states for September! :D

I bet you were like a little kid on xmas…LOL. And yes beer run is MOST DEFINITELY NEEDED!! and some more…. :dancing:

they cannot change your address…thats really weird….But my expectations of them are diminishing by the hour. Is the old address close to where you live? If yes and you know the people there, could you possibly let them know and you could pick up stuff if they ever send something to you…For some weird reason i though you could do this electronically….sorry i am a novice in this matter...

Lets hope this streak of luck stays on and we ALL in november get approved. I know i know wishful thinking, but hey there is nothing wrong with hoping. :goofy:

We called through skype, I recommend it to anyone who can. It's Free!

I spoke to a customer service agent "britney" and then was transferred to a Tier 2, after I got through I got told about the system being down blah blah.,. So I didn't get to change any of my information or even ask about my case. But the tier 2 DID SAY "hmm, you are out of normal processing times" so I think she maybe just pulled our file after the cal and worked on it.

this is really good, i mean the skype, but can you plase share with me how to call them on skype, do i have to add them or do you have a skype no/name for them

thank

You should just be able to call through Skype though you might need credit. That's really cheap though if you do.

Sorry, I meant to add, just dial the # on the website, don't need to add them.

I really hope the rest of you guys start getting some approvals in! We were unable to do it electronically because we both live outside of the US. So I have to send a fax/letter.

You don't need any skype credit at all to do this and no need to add them, just chose the "call phone" button, chose the country (USA) and enter the # 1-800-375-5283

Skype allows all 1800 numbers free, and it's already a toll-free number so it's great!

Haha teacup, you're going to end up being our special advisor. You'll have to stick around here and not completely disappear onto the NVC May filers group ;)

Hi everyone,

I called USCIS today and I was forwarded to a tier2 person and after a long (1 hour) wait, I explained that our application was way over the normal processing time. She was very helpful and attempted to put an inquiry through to NSC. She came back on the phone and said that she can't put the request in because they are actively looking at our I-130. She said that I should expect to hear back in max 5 days and if I don't I should call back.

So they are definitely starting to process the November applications. TeaCup...you guys really lucked out or maybe it helps that you called multiple times. Anyways...that's what's going on.

Get calling USCIS, stay on hold if you have to for as long as you can!

It's 9 PM here stateside, they are closed. I'll call tomorrow, but my congressman's liason has been pinging them pretty frequently and they said we have to wait till 12 May to do anything because until then we're within "standard processing times."

Also something is wrong with the pie chart it is stuck on 100% pending. Can someone fix that?
