I think Easter much like Xmas is far more secular now than ever before... which I'm totally Happy with... I get to eat delicious chocolate and I don't have to believe in anything If don't want to! :D

in a different subject... I need to complain... what's up with all the people from previous months that got their NOA2s and just will not fill in their time lines... I will grant them the benefit of the doubt and say that they're far too excited to do that... but... ugh!

Also, Happy easter! :) Although for some reason... in my perspective and in my cultural "millieu" (raised catholic), Good friday is far more exciting... with the whole... let's get jesus up on the cross so he can die already (and we can start eating meat again!)... more things going on on good friday than on sunday... I guess people are just exhausted and glad the whole 5 day celebration is over... and we can eat meat again!

Note that I'm saying this in a humorous way... ;) Let's hope those approvals start showing up next week...

Hi guys!
I`m trying to collect all documents I need to NVC, wanted to ask you guys are you planing to send AOS package and the IV package together or separately? is there any difference? How do you recommend? And also are you going to send all Affidavit of bona fide marriage to AOS package right? With copies from all you have sent to USCIS for your I 130 plus the rest you prepare by the time waiting for your NOA2?

Thank you very much!

At this point I can only assume one of two things is going on.. either they're mopping up the harder cases that took longer to come to a decision on or half the employees are on vacation. To see October not even 2/3 complete at this point is a little bit discouraging. The positive spin I'm trying to put on it for my sanity is that a fair number of people are way slow updating their timelines here. And this sort of mystifies me a little bit. I'll update mine in about 2 seconds after I know something, then probably make a dozen phone calls and send out emails to tell close friends and family. Hell I might even commission a crop duster to skywrite it.

You can send AOS and IV stuff together only if you have a lawyer is my understanding. Has to do with not needing to fill in the Ds-261

Just called USCIS for the first time and now I get why people's general comments about their first tier CSR is so...um, negative. She was basically reading off some online instructions. I asked for expedite due to financial distress and now I've got to wait 5 days for an answer. NOA1 was 11/20/13, so now I'm past 5 months wait, yet the CSR on the phone said I need to wait another month at least :(

The Tier 1's can't do anything, you have to request a transfer to a tier 2.

What's Tier 2 going to do for me that a Tier 1 can't provide? Any insights? Thank you.
