I-130 November Filers

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all well. Just registered today on here. My PD is Nov 14,2013. I guess i join the train on here, like you all. I am the beneficiary. Applying from Canada. Oh and I have the address for Nebraska on the NOA1 received.

A few questions:

1) Is it ok if I enter my details into the spreadsheet? If yes, How do I join the spreadsheet?

2) I was noticing the August/September/October spreadsheets. I am assuming the transfer dates on these meant that initially I-130 forms were sent to some local centers? The transfer date means that it was transferred to one of the big centers like NSC/CSC etc? Or I am completely off the mark and it means something different? Or does transfer date mean that "someone" started working on their paperwork from that day?

3) Also, related to question 2, if the trend from Aug/Sept/Oct continues shouldn't the november filers be on the process having theses so called "transfers" already?

I know we can only speculate. I am hoping that by November we are through the WHOLE PROCESS, and with our respective spouses.

Wishing all best of luck.

N

Today is the first that I've seen an approval from Nebraska that was not a transfer (and does not appear to be an expedite or other outlier). Hopefully this means they're approaching the end of the all the transfers and have "caught up" so to speak. I would have to go back and look again, but I think they started on the October transfers about 2 weeks ago. It'll be interesting once the first November approval shows up.

Transfers stopped Oct 23rd. Applications going straight to service centres now. I don't know who is doing the spreadsheet, sorry.

Aha ok. Thank you. I guess we just have to wait. I saw that there was an approval on Apr 4 for someone with a PD of Oct 25 or something from Nebraska. I guess that means November is getting closer. I think by the end of this month we will all be in the system.

As for the spreadsheet, no worries.

Personally I would like it to be today. LOL! but I am thinking from NVC and Interview dates In Canada, specifically Montreal. I think London is way better at interview dates than Montreal. The only good news is that I live in Montreal so I don't have to plan to travel anywhere else except catch the subway and I am at the consulate for the interview data (which I hope comes sooner rather than later). LOL

Welcome to VJ!

Yes, just open the spreadsheet and fill in your VJ Name and date you filed.

None of us here are transfers that I know of, so not really sure.

Most service centers are up to 5 months so currently on September/October. So November filers should be hearing something this month ot or next.

By November this year? I was aiming for August but that may not happen, lol. I would really hope all of us are in the US and with our spouses soon as the wait is really hard on some people, but be patient. :D

Hello,

So I entered my information in the November Spreadsheet. thanks Teacup!

@Teacup - ou never know. Keep the hope up. One never knows. maybe even sooner.

Well I am just speculating November. I don't know when and how long it will be. Personally, its very hard not to think about it, but well one day at a time. I am sure it will all work out eventually. LOL. Though i have to say I am starting to get impatient. A LOT!! LoL.

I've noticed some countries are significantly snappier when it comes to the interview. Based on the rather limited number of past applicants from Romania, it seems like we can expect 3 to 5 months from NOA2 to Visa in hand :/ So I keep reminding myself that this is only the first part of it all. I'm beginning to wonder if my heart, wallet, and digestive system will hold out.

Also, for those as OCD about this as I am.. you can setup a notification in the November speadsheet so that you will get an email anytime someone makes an edit to the spreadsheet. Just go to the Tools menu and then select Notification Rules.

I'm working on the presumption that it's 16-18 weeks from noa2 to interview. So if I hear at the end of April, that'll be mid Sept. Maybe it's just wishful thinking because my first wedding anniversary is Sept 27th.

@Cathymac - I completely understand. Fingers crossed!!!

I am sure time will fly by and this will all be a distant memory very very soon.

I think it does after noa2. So much to do and things getting done with an end in sight. I don't feel the rush to pack and sort yet in case I'm stuck at uscis for months, lol. But hopefully we'll all be home for Christmas, or even Thanksgiving with our loved ones. I've not done a thanksgiving there yet, only Christmas and superbowls :D
