Today marks 5 months exactly from NOA1... last touched 11/12/2013... I'm going out of my mind here :( we'll be entering a service request during this week. :(

Although I'm feeling impatient as well, I'm actually glad to see that most service centers are processing October dates now. Back when we all filed in November the wait was closer to 7 or 8 months. They've actually made up some ground thank god. If we are approved at 6 months or sooner I will feel lucky compared to those that came before us March through August. Some of those folks waited 9 months or more. So even though I'm hating this slow processing I'm also trying to keep my perspective.

Thank you, we had certain things to take care of financially before we filed. We had priorites, so we dealt with our priority then filed afterwards.

So I think you should wait a little before entering SR. I really really hope they will start approving Nov filers this month!

Hi guys, I will be getting a new passport soon as my old one that I used for the visa process is expired, I want to get my new passport in my husbands name. Will this affect anything in regards to the visa process?

All of my documents sent to USCIS are in my maiden name as I haven't officially changed it. Passport will be the first step, also my marriage cert doesn't have me down as my husbands name, So, not sure how that works.

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all well. Just registered today on here. My PD is Nov 14,2013. I guess i join the train on here, like you all. I am the beneficiary. Applying from Canada. Oh and I have the address for Nebraska on the NOA1 received.

A few questions:

1) Is it ok if I enter my details into the spreadsheet? If yes, How do I join the spreadsheet?

2) I was noticing the August/September/October spreadsheets. I am assuming the transfer dates on these meant that initially I-130 forms were sent to some local centers? The transfer date means that it was transferred to one of the big centers like NSC/CSC etc? Or I am completely off the mark and it means something different? Or does transfer date mean that "someone" started working on their paperwork from that day?

3) Also, related to question 2, if the trend from Aug/Sept/Oct continues shouldn't the november filers be on the process having theses so called "transfers" already?

I know we can only speculate. I am hoping that by November we are through the WHOLE PROCESS, and with our respective spouses.

Transfers stopped Oct 23rd. Applications going straight to service centres now. I don't know who is doing the spreadsheet, sorry.
