I remember seeing that for Nebraska there was a metric buttload of filings for October. It seems like that is when the transfers began to slow down and the direct to NSC began. So for as many October results as there have been already, I'm really hoping to see an avalanche of them pouring in soon.

Sort of off topic - I haven't seen any threads about this specifically, so I thought I would ask if anybody knows of discussion threads pertaining to age difference specifically. My wife is very concerned that our spread in age could be a problem. I disagree, I don't think it'll be a problem at all, but then again I've been wrong about plenty of things in the past. She'll be turning 24 in May and I'll be 45 in August. Is this actually something I need to concern myself with?

Age difference, no. I know a couple approved on AOS with an almost 40yr age difference.

Love has no age difference and no official can say otherwise. Tell her not to worry after you get her to believe you can be right sometimes ;)

So quickly I go from right to wrong... I guess this is one of those days where I feel the need to torture myself by endlessly examining data. October was not the heavy month I recall, it was November when they began to really come in. Though October does indeed seem to be the transition at Nebraska.

Rosalit and I also have a large age difference. She is 24 and I am 47. But I'm really immature :D

Joking aside I agree with what was said above. Age in and of itself is not a show stopper. Many couples have large age differences. Whether or not it becomes a flag in the process depends on the customs of the respective countries of the petitioner and beneficiary. If it is common to see similar age differences in the related cultures then age becomes less of a flag, if at all. If your age difference falls outside the cultural norms then it may be a flag. But even so an age difference flag can be overcome with good evidence of a bona fide relationship. If the CO sees and feels you have a genuine connection and relationship than the age difference itself won't hold you back.

In my situation, the DR is a high fraud country to begin with. So our age difference may get looked at. But, on the other hand, large age differences between an older man and younger women are not uncommon in the culture. So although our age difference might be noted I would suspect the flag would not be large. Our approach is to make sure we bring all the support we can with photos of us together and with family, documented visits, receipt for trips, visa stamps, chat logs, phone logs etc. along with the openness and honestly during the interview that allows the true color our relationship to show through.

Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between April 9, 2014 and May 9, 2014*. Hahaha, I much prefer today's to yesterday's, that was August September. I know to take this with a pinch of salt but we can dream, hey? :D

Mine was October to November, now it says July to August. I am praying....I started the vaccines that I don't have yet, so that I am not going to be stress over vaccines in the future for the medical. Let me know when you received the good news.

LOL x

Times have come down though, VSC is saying 5 months and they appear to be up to October. Not sure about the other centres but I'm loving the recent momentum. Long may it continue :)

I really want to be home for my first wedding anniversary at the end of Sept. I guess that will depend on how long it takes London to schedule the interview. Just hope our lawyer stays on top of things at the NVC stage.
