Quick NOA 2 response

Hi guys!

This is my first forum update and I also have a question.

Update: WE GOT OUR NOA 2!!!! ... I think.

Question: Our receipt date was October 9, 2013 and our notice date was October 31, 2013. I feel like this is an excessively quick turn around. Our I-797 reads "The above petition has been approved and forwarded to the listed consulate." Is this indeed our NOA 2 or did I just get really excited over an NOA 1? And am I wrong in thinking this was a really quick turn around?

I received an I-797C on October 10, 2013 stating "The I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiance has been received by our office..." I hope I'm correct in thinking this is our NOA 1.

Thanks for all your support and celebration during this journey!

You're welcome. Oh one more thing, your approval is dated when you got notice by text, email, and or from USCIS website- my fiance never got such notification except when I logged on USCIS website-. NOA-2 hardcopy received date is not the approval date of your I-129F. You can ask your fiance to check NOA-2 hardcopy and the valid date to see your actual date of approval. Which is mean, you got approval only in 20 days. Wow, that's faster!dancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gif .

Huge congrats! What service center processed your I-129F? I am sending mine in the next few weeks and hearing all these amazingly fast results is making very hopeful. Though I know it's always different for everyone and could take a very long time.

So exciting though! Hope of the rest of the process is speedy for you. dancin5hr.gif
