Okay, so after I had lost any hope to ever be fingerprinted before my interview, my FP appointment came in the mail today!!! It wasn't an I-797 from the NBC, it was just a white sheet of paper from my local office where they kindly ask me to show up any time between now and Jan 2nd. I guess, when my case got transferred to San Jose office, they found out that NBC never sent me a FP notice, so they did it themselves. It's really good, cause now I have a chance to get my EAD which I really may need in case I'll have to wait from my green card approval :)

Good luck to everyone with the AOS process! :)

Filed AOS from F-1
Green Card approved on 01/04/07
Conditions removed 01/29/09

Citizenship Oath 08/23/12

Great news! According to what I've read, it only takes the FBI a day or two in most cases to process your fingerprints and get them back to USCIS. So as long as you get that done soon, that part of the process shouldn't delay your approval at all.

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.

shermike - that is untrue. FBI namecheck is intialized sometime after the NOA1; a separate procedure.

biometrics only checks fingerprints (results are usually available within a week or 2)

Thank you all!

I went in for my biometrics today. All done :) And my AOS and I-130 were touched today as well - I am assuming, as a result of biometrics :)

SHAr, you will get your appintment soon - one month is still a normal timeframe. If it becomes more than 60 days since your notice date, you may start calling them and complain - they may help you. But I'm sure your appointment is on the way!
