He's the best!! Saved me many dollars by assisting us in our journey and many questions......and my own "self-imposed" problems!! He gets my vote if he ever runs for US President. Gina and I are both in our 50's, but if we get pregnant, our first child will be named Hank......whether it's a male or female!! Hahaha. God bless to Hank and his family, and many thanks!

i want to join the bandwagon of those well wishers that Hank keeps up his unrivaled dedication to help people out in this visa journey.

My personal experience was a nightmare and it hasnt entirely ended up until now. But for 1 year and 4 months, Hank has been there to give me encouraging words and i had to draw from the Well of Patience like he always suggests even tho it is tough....

To Hank, KUDOS!!!! You are the best! My fiance even thinks so:)

So you have your MNL # ?

Then you are good to go, you do not need to wait for anything, you can pay the visa fee at BPI, do the medical at St, Luke's and when appointments become available again...schedule the interview.

Now with all of that said, there are things to be aware of; if you do your medical months before your interview date that will shortly the validity of the visa as the visa validity is tied to the date of the medical (which is why the embassy uses the wording - visa is valid for UP TO 6 months), not a big issue most of the time, but just be aware.

Other thing is the petition validity date on the NOA2, don't worry about that one, the embassy will automatically extend the validity of the petition up to a year as long as they know you are "active", creating your account and paying your visa fee handles that one.

Follow the flashing arrow below for details.

Ya... IF you get luckily and someone cancels a May date, heck the whole month of June was gone in less than a week, everyone is waiting for the embassy to open up July right now.

Keep watching the dashboard for a date to show up on the lower left.

hi hank, USEM received our case from NVC . my fiancée already paid the visa fee at BPI , do we need to fill up & submit first the DS-160 before we can schedule her interview or can we schedule her interview right after we pay the visa fee and do the DS-160 at a later time? I just want to schedule it soon coz I'll be in Manila in May for 3 weeks and I'm hoping we can get an interview while I'm there.

Schedule your interview 24 - 48 hours after you made your payment. Print and make copies of your interview confirmation as you will need a few copies along the way. Once you have your date you can complete the DS-160 but no hurry [good idea to do it ahead and get that out of the way but not the night before the interview hahaha] as long as you have it on the day of your interview. Assemble your information for the interview and show up with a smile. Good luck

Doesn't matter if you do the DS-160 before or after scheduling the interview. Usually have to wait 12-24 hours after paying at BPI before you can schedule the interview............. IF there were any opening... which there aren't right now. Waiting for July to become available.

Doubt you will see a May date unless you trip over a cancellation.

Good Luck.
