Wow, Im so Sorry u have to go through this. But be great full she broke it off now rather than going through the entire process and then she decides she aint with it. Honestly long distance relationships are really hard and if she really loved you she would stick by you no matter how long it took. Stay strong smile.png God bless

Somewhat the same happened to me, albeit earlier in the process. If you want to save the relationship and believe that it's worth saving, beat it down there now, sparing no expense, to spend time with her. Rebuild things. In fact, reserve the air tickets (before purchasing them), call her, and tell her that you're on your way and here are the dates.

You said it yourself: It's very hard to be separated from the one you love. She might be feeling the same thing, which has led to her pullback.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Im not a relationship therapist but if she isn't worried about it and its so easy for her to give up then let it be. No need to waste more of u r money on the relationship by going down there. U did ur part just sad she couldn't do hers. Sorry aboyt the outcome.

does she know that the interview can be within 3 to 4 months??? I mean it will fly by. I know it's hard a heck because we are all on the same boat and know how difficult this is. I've personally had bumps due to the distance and always smooth things out. If you honestly think she is in love with you and you're in love too, try to work it out. Don't allow anything to break the relationship!

how long have you been waiting??? if she cannot wait some months then where is the love. I have not seen my fiance in a year and 3 months and we have a child that is 10 months and he has not seen. So if the love is strong then you pull thru it. if not then it's not worth it... think about it....

Since you both are sharing this account, have you seen your fiance previous post before? Darnell showed you the link and there were a lot advises that you could take for your sake. I don't understand how people are now easily gave up for such small things like this.

I met my fiance back in 2008, met in person 2011, and imagine some other people on VJ have had endured long distance courtship much longer than what I'm having now. It is up to you for making decision and wish all the best for your future life.

now I remember these post are from the same person...

Or is there any chance both of them are sharing this account? Previous post seems "a girl" and this post apparently is "a guy" or petitioner unless they are trying to "play game" on VJ.
