So my fiancée was talking to another woman doing her interview this week too and she found out she does need the DS260 (which we were never informed of by the NVC)

I contacted the NVC today and asked if I needed to submit a DS260, the lady on the phone told me yes I have to. She sounded pretty firm, so she kindly gave me the invoice ID number for my case and the beneficiary ID number and told me to submit it today so it'll be ready for our interview on the 7th!

I just finished submitting it, turns out it is required. Just thought I would put it out there, our P3 packet told us to fill DS230, so we did just that but found out we needed DS260 too! Lucky we have it all set!

Hi httuner,

Thank you so much for posting this and that's good that you have all set before the interview.

Does it mean I need to fill up the DS260 also? It is not instructed in the packet 3.

Where can I find that form?

It is an online form that you will need to submit online.

You will need to go here:

https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx

You need your case number and invoice ID number which you have to call NVC for, contact them at 16033340700, the wait time is so long but endure it and you will get your required information from them.

Our P3 said nothing about DS260 and NVC never contacted us about it. It just so happen we found out last minute that we need it! So submit the form online if you haven't.

Just thought I should share this about the DS-260 for K visa. Note the last sentence by Kerry.

http://travel.state.gov/pdf/Using_ds_160_for_K_Visa_Applications_October_2013.pdf

I am hoping anyone submitted DS-160 for K visa have gone thru. interviews would share a solid answer whether or not DS-260 is still required (for those who have submtted DS-160 as instructed on P3 only). Thanks.

Your best bet is to contact the NVC and ask if they require you to submit a DS260_ I called and they told me I must submit a DS260.

Even if you submitted a DS230 Form, you may have to submit a DS260 later on, I read that somewhere, so just to be safe, might as well submit it_ Call the NVC and find out =]
