Well, he does not really need tax transcript for the interview, he only need recent pay stub or something that could proof his income right now/recent 3 months.

They are thinking if she get approved, she come to US first, then work asap, get their income stabilize together then petiton for 2 kids later.

Honestly...and I'm not trying to be rude but why?? With a sub 20k income how can this person expect to provide for a new wife and 2 children?? It's like Tina Turner said..."whats love got to do with it". This person should improve his lot and then revisit the idea of a foreign bride. Just my 2 cents.

I am no expert on SSDI but I think they only allow earnings above a certain amount for a limited period, so not sure how you can count both.

From what I see people with SSDI mainly work off the books, but that is no use for sponsorship.

I would think SSDI would qualify as income even though it is not "taxable income". Maybe he needs to get a letter from the SS office that states his monthly disability. Also SSDI last forever or until you go back to work.

Manila US Embassy does not accept Joint sponsor. I heard it might be case to case basis.

I think the only change of this happening is to get a joint sponsor that the embassy will accept.

SSDI payments are just too low with nothing else supplementing it for 2 people, let alone 4.

I poked around my old email records. My memory was incorrect. I did an i-134 on my own for the K1, for AOS an 1-864 for me and an i-864a for my parents.
