Hey, guys.. I just have a few question for you, hopefully, you guys can help me out.

My son and I are flying back to the Philippines in less than a month. Our return flight is not until May, so we'll basically stay in the PI for 5 months. However, after reading this DCF in Manila, I thought about extending our ticket, so we could file our I-130 directly at the Embassy.

My concern is, would I be eligible?

Going back over there means I have to quit my job here, because that's awfully long time for a vacation. Which means, I'm not gonna have a job here, but possibly getting a job over there. Would that matter? Me not having a job here? I can use a joint sponsor, right?

I've read that you have to establish residency in the PI, do I still need to get a visa even though I'm a Dual Citizen? If not, then how can I establish that?

Since, we'll be staying at my grandmother's house, because she does not reside in that particular house, we wouldn't pay rent, how can we establish that we're (we will) living together in a home?

Please fill me in with some details.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, VJ FAM! :D

On October 2013, our I-129F Refused under 221(g)

I am not sure about the laws there, but for DCF be sure to provide explanations of everything. It's not as complicated as it seems. If you can manage to get mail in both of your names (or individually) at the same address that is good.

To prove my established residency, all I needed to send was my spouse visa for the UK. They did not ask for much more. As you are a citizen, hopefully all you need to send may be proof of bills (if that). I hope someone from PL can answer better than I have. I hope everything works out in your favor:)
