question about medical examination

As a K1 visa holder I entered the USA in October and married my wife whos a us citizen on december,2nd.

Im now seeking for my adjustment of status.

Do I still have to go through a medical examination and submit forns I693 and/or I693A with my form I485,even

if I allready had a medical examination in France when I submited the form I129F petition to obtain my K1

visa at the embassy in Paris ?

My wife allready called the USCIS and they told her I just need to copy each page of my heath carnet(which is

french,and only shows my vaccinations),and so do not need to send these forms with my I485.

It doesnt say the same on the visajourney step by step guide,and when we called the civil surgeon in our area

he told us I have to go through another medical examination.

All this is a little confusing,and I wanna be sure I send all the right documents for my adjustement of status.

Do a civil surgeon search here on VJ.

Get a list of civil surgeons in your area and call around until you find one

who will cooperate with you. You do NOT have to get another medical.

You have to take the DS3025 copy the embassy doctor hopefully gave you

to the civil surgeon and he will transfer it to the I-693A form which you send in

for AOS. It should cost between $10 and $50, ask around.

If the embassy doctor did not give you a copy of DS3025 try to get it faxed or mailed

to you or try if the civil surgeon here will accept a vaccination health record.

I don't know the french paper you are refering to.
