Hi everyone, my mom in law got her interview today, the consul was asking for co-sponsor due to less tax return on year 2012, the petitioner was deployed in afghanistan from oct.2011 to May 2012 it was tax free, thats why his AOS was less than the required income tax,. But the attorney made a letter about it, but the consul still wants the new AOS with co sponsor, please give me some tips to fix it, thank u

My mom in law told that she didn't show the w2s and supporting docs made by tour attorney,, maybe thats the reason why the co was asking for another sponsor,. My husband is planning to send the supporting docs made by the attorney, because it takes time for him to look for another sponsor,. What do u think guys? Thank u

Make sure you give them the W2s and all the information showing that the USC spouse was paid XX amount that year but did not have to be paid taxes on it because of deployment. Try to get around this first, but look for a friend who would joint sponsor as well.
