Let's say they send me a RFE but it never arrived or whatever happened with it!

What happens if I now go on vacation with my letter and I missed my time for RFE respond and want to re enter the US?

Am I screwed at that point?

Call uscis hotline and talk to tier 2 officer and they should be able to tell you if you had an RFE and when it was sent out. Or maybe your just panicking for no reason and your the unlucky few who's cases take longer than usual.

From what I gathered from my time here, some people are randomly selected for interviews.

I am guessing you might be the one. Once you have confirmed that there are no RFE from them,

you might have to start getting ready.

They would have told you that RFE was sent and not responded to if that was the case. My wife just went back home for few weeks and her new GC arrived day after. SUCKS!!!

Called uscis customer support and left call back number.

Got a call back from tier 2 rep, he was nice and told me he had put a request for approving my card.

Gave confirmation number and asked to call back if I do not hear back within a weeks time.

Hi All. Been following this thread for a while and decided to join as well. Received NOA on Nov 22 through Vermont, case Transferred to California on 3/14 and still no word. Decided to call yesterday to speak to a rep and he told me that currently California is working on October 15 adjustments so until it passes my date, there's nothing that can be done... I'm so anxious to get this process over with, and finally be able to have a peaceful night of sleep. I can't understand what's taking so long...

i am slowly starting to panic. USCIS is saying that there is no feedback yet on my application. No RFE send out or anything else.

That info came from a Tier2.

Should I believe it or not???

If I receive nothing before June 18 I am going to call and insist to speak to Tier 2, since that would put us 30 days behind national goal.

Vicky, how do I speak to a Tier 2? Also, when I called he told me that California was reviewing cases for October 16 and since mine was November 22, there wasn't much he could do for me...
