-Bank Statements 2012 from closed joint bank account at Bank of America (we only kept very limited Bank Statements from that bank, since we closed out that account due to being very dissatisfied with their service.)

-Bank Statements from New joint bank account opened December 2012 - checking and savings

-VA Compensation Letter where my wife as Dependent & beneficiary

-DEERS enrollment where my wife is listed as Army Dependent

-Credit Card Copies -

-Credit Card Copies

- Power Bill in my wife’s, name - our address

- Water/Sewer Bill in my) name - our address

- Drivers license copies my wife’s, and mine showing mutual address

- Credit Card Statements

- Emergency contact print from my wife’s work

- Copy of Dependents from my wife’s work

- Copies of my wife’s, showing me, and my kids /her step kids as beneficiaries.

- 5 Affidavits from friends & family

- My will showing my wife as beneficiary

- Car insurance cards and policy for where we are both listed

- Joint Car loan contract

- Army ID Cards

- Health Insurance cards

- Cell Phone Bills showing family plan

- Pictures

- My wifes, pay stubs

-Copy of IRS Form 1040 from our 2011 joint federal tax return.

-Copy of IRS Form 1040 from our 2012 joint federal tax return.

-Army Retirement Print listing my wife as 100% beneficiary of my retirement-pay.

-Copy of my credit report showing mutual addresses.

-Copy of my wife’s credit report showing mutual addresses.

-Car Insurance Policy from old Insurance company that got cancelled in November 2012, in my wife’s and my name

I think you sent enough and i am sure you will get approved soon.

May be your petition is in hands of somebody backlogged or its under piles.

If it has passed 6 months,you can contact senator and send him email requesting for enquiry.

On May 22, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Little late update but looks like VSC is finally back in action 100%

Received the text & email on 5/22 and received NOA few days later. Approved date on NOA was 5/20. Moving next week so I would have to call-in and let them know my new address.

I opened an enquiry since we're beyond the 6 mo mark. (Had to speak to level 2) The 'officer' said that she didn't see any letters for more RFE or interview in the notes. Trying to not worry (ha! that's my middle name it seems..LOL). She said 'you'll get a letter by 11 June with a response with your new timeline'... really???? WOW is all I can say.

Hi VickyP,

Im new here, fallowing your journey

I send my package on 11/18/2013

On 03/14/2013 they transfered my case to CA center, from then on nothing, called them after 6 months mark, talk to tier 2, he didnt give me any new information he said that this is normal time and that they have one year to approve my pettition ( Thats why we all got extension for one year+ they emailed me that they received my call...I guess i need to wait... Please let me know after you hear from Senator?thx

Wow VickyP you certainly shouldn't get an RFE with what you sent, hope your letter to the Senator gets a fire lit under them!!

I also just sent senator an email.

At this point, RFE, interview, whatever, I just want an answer. I filed everything on time, I paid my dues and they can't even give me more than "wait 60 days" when I request more information. I'm already a ball of stress about pretty much everything, so this is driving me nuts.

VickyP -- you sent a lot of documentation. I'd be surprised if you got an RFE. As someone else said, I wish I sent half of what you sent. I really regret not sending more because of that, an RFE I would only blame myself. But at least an RFE would tell me they are working on it!!

Hey guys

Got back home today from work and found a letter from USCIS in the mailbox. It said we are approved. Slowly but surely VSC is definitely moving and i hope everyone else gets a speedy approval.

P.S. My online status is still at initial review.

Text message today... said your status has been updated on uscis.gov.... checked it and it said on 28 May 2014 they ordered production of new card!!! (So, if you haven't called in and you are past the 6 month mark for VSC - please call them!!! I did and yippee!)

Conversation with a USCIS Rep. today: are you married to a US Army active duty or retired servicemember?

Yes I am! Oh and you marked that in your application ? Yes I did!

Her answer : you shouldn't be waiting that long in that case?

Huh? Why is that?

I don't know what she wanted to tell me with her remark! Know as much as I knew before!

Well she submitted a service request!

Had done the e request and came back with a standard answer so I don't know what the service request will change now!
