I have to wonder how these cases are assigned to reps. Maybe by location? Just curious why two Orlando people are still waiting. Strange.

How to get a notification after a decision

have you gone to the uscis website and created an account?

if not

go to www.uscis.gov

on the main page go into the tab that says TOOLS, and click on CHECK YOUR CASE STATUS ONLINE

on that page go to SIGN UP FOR CASE UPDATES

it makes you create an account with a user name and password, ( it will show you dates when your file was updated, or reviewed)

make sure you click on how you want notified, email, text should ask for your cell number if you want a text message

and that should do it! good luck!

At this point I can only make wild guesses and assumptions. Either the wait is a sign of RFE out there that we didn't receive, background check takes to long or we will receive an Interview.

It seems RFE is inevitable at this stage, otherwise I don't see the reason why they are delaying.

Could you please share your RFE experiences, that is what was requested and what was submitted,

so that those of us still waiting can get ready for anything.

- Our marriage certificate

- last two joint leases

-joint mortgage paperwork

-Bank Statements 2012 from closed joint bank account at Bank of America (we only kept very limited Bank Statements from that bank, since we closed out that account due to being very dissatisfied with their service.)

-Bank Statements from New joint bank account opened December 2012 - checking and savings

-VA Compensation Letter where my wife as Dependent & beneficiary

-DEERS enrollment where my wife is listed as Army Dependent

-Credit Card Copies -

-Credit Card Copies

- Power Bill in my wife’s, name - our address

- Water/Sewer Bill in my) name - our address

- Drivers license copies my wife’s, and mine showing mutual address

- Credit Card Statements

- Emergency contact print from my wife’s work

- Copy of Dependents from my wife’s work

- Copies of my wife’s, showing me, and my kids /her step kids as beneficiaries.

- 5 Affidavits from friends & family

- My will showing my wife as beneficiary

- Car insurance cards and policy for where we are both listed

- Joint Car loan contract

- Army ID Cards

- Health Insurance cards

- Cell Phone Bills showing family plan

- Pictures

- My wifes, pay stubs

-Copy of IRS Form 1040 from our 2011 joint federal tax return.

-Copy of IRS Form 1040 from our 2012 joint federal tax return.

-Army Retirement Print listing my wife as 100% beneficiary of my retirement-pay.

-Copy of my credit report showing mutual addresses.

-Copy of my wife’s credit report showing mutual addresses.

-Car Insurance Policy from old Insurance company that got cancelled in November 2012, in my wife’s and my name

Thank you for sharing.

I must commend you for gathering and sending all those.

In fact, I think you shouldn't worry anymore bcos it will be approved.

I really wish I sent up to half of what you sent.

It makes me to wonder more on what it could be that is delaying the adjudication.

All I can think of is laziness on their part. You might be surprised that your application has not been reviewed by anybody.

I am encouraging you to hang in there for a lil while. It will only get better.

Please, I still urge others who received a RFE, responded to it and got results to please share their experiences and educate us on how to get ready.
