We finally got news but it was not good news... an RFE. We received a letter in the mail and there was no update online. We have until July to respond but we are hoping to respond in the next 2 weeks. Wish us luck, trying not to freak out!

The doc you submit are insufficient show X name(my wife) as a beneficiary,not co owner of the account.the statement do not show join ownership and transactions made both spouses.Please submit additional evidence and explanations to show that you have commingled your assets and are sharing finances as a married couple...

Updating the listing with all of the recent VSC updates.

Still no news here - nothing posted online and nothing in the mail. Although seeing as how RunningTracks got an RFE and they are VSC filers but did not get a CSC transfer, it is at least a sign that the VSC-only cases are being looked at. Ever so slowly.

Also incredibly annoying: many Dec VSC filers who got transfers to CSC are already approved. :/

Hi, Babsaa, did you send the statements of your joint checking or saving account to USCIS, you can also sent them the checks which signed by you or your wife, you'd better ask a lawyer to help you.

btw, what kind of documents did you send, did you send the jonit health, life and auto insurance?

Babsaa, you are in the right place for help. First, you don't need a lawyer save your money ! the rfe you received is pertaining to financial so what you need to do is include all your checking or saving account statement for the last 6 month, that is since you file your I751 in November 2013. Second, wright a letter explaining what you gonna send and what you had sent in the first packet. You can include any other financial or other evidence you have or had that you didn't send. you can get more affidavit of support from people that know of your marriage, include mails coming to the address of both of you, copy of your i.ds , photos will help copy of actual cards(credit or debit), scram everything you have whether silly or not silly evidence. If you dont have all these just simply wright a letter sign by you and your spouse if possible notarize it. i have seen worst getting approved so you will be fine.

I received an RFE to show financial co-mingling as well and this what I sent them:

My husband is not on my checking account but I wrote a letter attesting to this fact and he and I both signed the document.

I sent a copy of my tax returns for 2013 showing we filed married/jointly

A document showing my husband was on my car insurance

A document showing he shared a credit card with me

a document showing we both had costco memberships

A copy of the recorded deed for our house showing both our names

a copy of a timeshare we purchased

We also sent documents showing trips we had taken over the last 3 years

Hi All -

Just want to get some advice on what I am going to include for the RFE:

- Copies of 2011, 2012, 2013 Tax returns filed jointly

- Copies of our pay stubs with our address (i have to make sure they have our address on it)

- Copy of our marriage certificate

- Copy of our child's birth certificate

- Copy of our child's school record showing both parents and address

- Both of our driver's license with same address

- Statements of his bank account records (we only have one account jointly) addressed to both of us

- Statement of joint car insurance (we have one car now but his name is not in on it, I am under insurance with my parents who I live with. he had his own car for a period of time but it was a junk car and we sold it now because we needed the money. also he didn't get his license until last year to be honest)

- Affidavit from parents stating that we all live with them (including my son) and that the utilities are in their name

- Pictures from when we met until now, including wedding ceremony pictures

My main concern is that we do not have a lease/mortgage as we live with my parents, we no longer have car insurance because I am listed under my parent's car insurance for the one car that we have, and I was added to his bank account last september and prior to that he was just listed alone. I know we should have done more stuff a long time ago I just didn't realize how much evidence I would need together and we often find it difficult to make ends meet. I know it seems silly but when your marriage is actually real you just don't think people will doubt it - I mean he is the father of my child! Anyhow, can you all give me your feedback on the items above? I am hoping to send it by next week at the latest. We are hoping to go to Jamaica in July to visit family and want to have this behind us.

I feel you on that. Looks like VSC is the transfer / RFE master!!!

Still no update for me either. I am sure we will get a RFE. We moved 3 times in the past 2 years. They will think we are weirdos lol.
