Congrats !!

VSC ???

We filed I-751 in November 2013 in Vermont , feb 15 extension received then march 14 I check status online and it says cri89 transferred to local office.. So that got me worried , so then I checked status by calling the 1800 number, I type in our eac number and the automated system says that our file has been transferred to st.alban Vermont ... Why would it say that it transferred our file to the same place that we sent it too ????

He/She is in 03/14 transfer group :)

Congrats Cbb2007 !! Let us know your sent date, the Receipt Date on your NOA letter and Bio date. So, we can add your to the list ;)

Hey all!

Filed on Nov 21st to VSC. Haven't heard anything since Biometrics. Getting kind of nervous now!

Edit: Forgot to mention that my case isn't showing up on USCIS but I definitely remember it showing up months ago when I last checked. Is that normal?

Are you using the one from the Bio letter?

HI, you can add me to the list if you want..

Filed Nov. 27, Bio Dec. 30, Vermont office. status check online only indicates application received and bio. instructions.

I've been following this forum since January but haven't posted anything until now. I am the US citizen and want to file for divorce but don't want to mess up his change of status esp since we've come this far and have a child together, I'm just not happy and want to move on. Doesn't seem right that the Vermont office is dragging butt and the Cali office is progressing.

...venting…

December filer, no transfer got approved.

Hi everyone who are still awaiting for I-751 approval, especially those filed in VSC !

I did watch October & November Filer threads every night since Jan ..... and experienced such increasing nervous feeling while the 6 months timeline is closer and closer ........ then, thanks God, my on line case status updated from " Initial Review" to the text of card production after nearly 6 months maintained unchanged !

Hope my information below can help you guys get peaceful minds to continue waiting for your approvals:

Filing office: VSC

Date of NOA1: 25 Oct 2013

Biometric: 21 Nov 2013

Transfer from VSC to CSC: 18 Nov 2013.

Since then, I did not get any more information until 17 Apr 2014:

on line status update: Thusday 17 Apr 2014 - card production (5 months and 3 weeks from NOA1 date even big pile of evidences submitted and no RFE)

Approval Letter dated 18 Apr 2014, received Monday 21 Apr 2014

on line status update: 22 Apr 2014 - card mailed - should receive within 30 days.

on line status update: 23 Apr 2014 - USPS has picked up the mail - tracking number provided - should receive within 7 days.

It was a bit surprising that the Approval Letter was sent from VSC, not CSC (because "VSC" with its full address were identified on the envelop, as well as the post office seal also had the same zip code as VSC one), I think it may take longer time to process VSC applications because of such sending back and forth between VSC and CSC ?

Hope my above information is helpfull for your reference and wish your approvals are coming soon.

It does look like most of the VSC > CSC transfers are getting approved sooner than the VSC only cases (see the Dec there where some VSC filers who had transfers are approved).
