Hi everyone. I noticed from other months that on the last few days, ROC applicants with no change of address and that had their Bios late/Oct to early/Nov are getting news. I guess it should be about

Still Initial Review!

It's frustrating!

At least there is hope that your application will be approved. You were transferred to CSC and they are actually approving applications. VSC on the other hand.....

RFE received today

Apparently our genuinely relationship isn't good enough or them, and they need evidence for the whole time since the marriage

This is going to be a problem as for quite a while we don't have anything, we didn't get a copy of any contract in our apartment and all the utilities which is to say Power and internet had to be in my wife's name .

The fact we own a house together and have purchased several cars doesn't seem to be good enough

What happens now? Am I going to be deported? Because they are asking for stuff we cannot provide

The annoying thing is it doesn't even specify what kind or evidence and what time frame they need it for. So seriously what are you expected to do? Send every bank statement for the last two years? I'm so pissed off right now I almost want them to send me home, if this is how I'm going to be treated I don't feel like contributing to this country. But that would cripple us financially and put incredible pressure on our family.

I do really understand what you mean. You already send everything that you have but they want more, more and more.

What did you send with the first package?

obviously all the stuff you have to send, green card, passport, etc

3 months of joint bank account statements

2 years of tax returns - one at our old address

2 Mortgage Statements

Home insurance

2 Water bills

1 Car loan statement - also at old address

2 car titles, Insurance cards

Having had time to sleep on this I am ready to fight. I am going to send every piece of paper we have, every mortgage statement, water bill, car loan statement, bank statement that I can lay my hands on. We're also going to get my sons birth certificate which we still haven't sorted out yet, I wished we'd had the time to get that done before but it's hard to get downtown when you have a family to provide for.

First stop will be CVS to buy some more ink or the printer

You'd have thought the fact we own a house together and the fact we are married and still together was quite good proof that we are in a genuine relationship.

We just sent in our reply to RFE and I feel your pain. We mailed every single bank statement from 3 different bank accounts for over 3 years. It was a lot of time and effort to get but I feel it's worth it to keep our family together. I don't really understand why they feel that need all that stuff but what can we do?

Sep 2009- Met at school

November 29 2009- Asked her to be exclusive

July 4 2010- Asked for her hand in marriage

Dec 23 2010- Got married!!!

Mar 10 2011- Filed AOS with USCIS

Mar 11 2011- USCIS received app

April 9 2011- Received NOA for all forms

April 29 2011- Biometrics appointment scheduled

April 19 2011- Successful walk in biometrics in Phoenix

May 15- Received a RFE birth certificate/financial docs

June 9- Sent RFE back

June 13- Received email stating RFE response review

So sorry to hear Zedbraguy really sucks :(

(it does say right in the instructions to submit evidence from the date of marriage to the present, and does give an idea of what kind of stuff that qualifies :blush: )

Maybe even consider sworn affidavits to include with the moutain of other stuff you are planning on sending! Again, really sorry to hear, but it sounds like you are gonna be just fine! Good luck to you!

This wait is terrible! Still Initial Review.

Honestly it has been so long since I sent the original application and I am becoming more and more uneasy about what I sent. I feel like I could have done a lot better.

Will they ever deny an I751 without first sending out an RFE? I would not be surprised (or mad) if we received an RFE at this point, looking at what everyone else sent compared to what we did. And that's fine, we have other evidence we can send at this point. But I have this irrational feeling that they will outright deny without sending an RFE first.
