It's been a while for me.

Wanting to start a fiance application.

Im assuming it can only be applied for online, fastest way of course. No downloading and sending forms anymore?

$100.00 all I can expect to pay just to apply?

Thanks Queenie

The current fee for the application is $340. I have no idea where you got this $100 number from. It wasn't even that cheap 7 years ago lol.

No, it's not online. It still goes to a lock box.

Where to File

File Form I-129F at the USCIS Dallas Lockbox facility:
For U.S. Postal Service (USPS):

USCIS
P.O. Box 660151
Dallas, TX 75266

For USPS Express Mail and courier deliveries:
USCIS
Attn: I-129F
2501 South State Highway 121 Business
Suite 400
Lewisville, TX 75067

• We recommend reading our Lockbox Filing Tips before filing your petition.
• We will send you an email or text when the Dallas Lockbox facility accepts your Form I-129F if you clip a completed Form G-1145, Notification of Acceptance of Application/Petition to the front of your petition.
Note: A Form I-129F Petition cannot be adjudicated at a USCIS Office abroad.

Filing Fee

$340. (There is no fee for petitions for K-3 status based on an immigrant petition filed by the same U.S. citizen.)

Special Instructions
  • U.S. Citizens petitioning for K-3 visas for their alien spouses must include a copy of the Form I-797C, Notice of Action, showing they have filed Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, on behalf of their spouse listed on the form.
  • In addition, they must provide a marriage certificate, evidencing the legal marriage between the U.S. citizen and the alien.
  • Additional information about K-1 and K-3 visas is available at these links:

Mithra is correct. You should go to the USCIS site, http://www.uscis.gov/family/family-us-citizens/fiancee-visa/fiancee-visas , and review the instructions for the K1 fiance visa. Follow the instructions for the I129f. As well, you may want to review the guides and example forms here, it's a really big help smile.png Good luck!

Fiancé applications are also not for people with husbands. If your "interests" are in "being with your husband" per your profile, then a K-1 is not in your best interest if you wanna live with him in the US.
